Summer Glau
Glau's first TV credit was as a guest actor on the 2002 episode of Angel. She was noticed by director JossWhedon. She was eventually made her the character River Tam in the critically-acclaimed TV series Firefly. This role she played for the feature film sequel of Serenity. Glau had previously tried to audition for the role of a Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssa Enrile) in Power Rangers Wild Force but was unable to beat actress Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon.Glau played the role in the episode "Love Conquer Al" from the TV series Cold Case. The actress had a small role in the movie Sleepover where she played high school senior Shelly. She also appeared in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "What's Gilbert Grissom Doing to Gilbert? ", season two of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girl who plays Jeremy Erhart). Glau played Tess Doerner (a paranoid, psychotic returning character) in the second season of The 4400. From season three, she was a regular character. Glau was also in Mammoth the horror comedy. Glau was in The Initiation of Sarah, an ABC Family TV film. Glau played Cameron Phillips who was a Terminator-infiltrating unit that was which was returned to Skynet to guard John Connor (and Sarah Connor). The seventh episode of the series, "The Demon Hand", featured several scenes where Glau in character as Cameron is seen dancing ballet. In the second season's episode "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young the human doppelganger of Cameron. Glau also appeared as herself in a 2009 episode of the CBS comedy show The Big Bang Theory
