Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington, a Greek American businesswoman and syndicated journalist is also an author. She co-founded The Huffington Post the founder and chief executive officer of Thrive Global and the author of 15 books. Arianna Huffington is a writer, philanthropist TV personality, and the owner of the liberally independent online news magazine The Huffington Post. Born in Greece then moved to England at age sixteen. In Cambridge University, she graduated with an MA in economics. In the beginning, as the only non-English student, she was elected as president of The Cambridge Union' at the age of 21. In the years following her graduation, she made a impression as an editorialist for the conservative syndicate and when the publication of The Huffington Post' few months later, she created an online platform for voice that included critical comments about the current political climate. Her popularity helped to attract several well-known contributors for posting their thoughts on politics, news as well as culture. Arianna became famous during 2003 when she ran as an independent candidate in a recall vote in California in order to take over the position of Governor Davis. She was a leader throughout her childhood. at the age of 16 she emigrated to the United Kingdom to pursue her education and was enrolled at Girton College Cambridge. At the time of her studies, she belonged to Cambridge Union. Cambridge Union debating group where she became the first female president, and also the only foreign president. She graduated in 1972 with an advanced degree in Economics. She became a writer, a critic as well as a host on TV and as a columnist shortly after her graduation.
